In the past two years the very important issue of recycling has come up.
In the process of recycling, what many consider trash is a product that can be
used to make new items. Since many communites do not have centers to collect
the old products, the government has been considering making recycling centers
mandatory. For today’s society, recycling would be a very smart and helpful
decision. There are three things recycling would have a great effect on;
pollution, money, and the population of humans. With the help of recycling, not
only will recycling benefit communities it will also benefit the world.
With the help of recycling pollution will be greatly reduced. Currently
there are ten states that have bottle deposit laws. Studies show that each of those
states have highly reduced their pollution because people return the bottles instead
of throwing them away. If every state had a deposit law, and mandatory
recycling centers the earth would be a beautiful place. Also with these laws and
recycling combined, pollution could be put to an end.
Also, recycling saves money.
Recycling can save the local government and
people money. The money we spend on landfills would be much less since the dump grounds will fill up
slower. Therefore, the city will not have to buy or use other land for a garbage
dump. This is definitly a cost save. Futhermore the city will not have to pick up
the trash as often, and therefore the city will be saving money on gas. Since the
city is saving money, taxes will decrease, thus the citizens of the town will also
save money.
Finally, humanity will benefit from recycling. In fact, one of the major
reasons recycling has become such a big issue is because it is beneficial to the health of
the citizens. If people are not forced to recycle, the overall health of the nation
will be affected. Wastes that produce will help destroy people’s health. It is a
proven fact that air pollution is one cause of caner. By making new products
from old ones, pollution will be reduced.
This, in turn, shall cut down on the
number of cancer causes. Futhermore, the amount of water that is polluted by
trash will be reduced. Since many of the products that people throw away will be
recycled, those products will not find their way to the water sytems. The animals
that live in the water or drink from that water will not become diseased. This
will help people because they, in turn, eat the animals, and if the animals are
not sick, the people will not become ill. Overall, recycling will have a positive
impact on the health of the nation’s citizens.
If recycling centers are made mandatory, a great impact will be made on
pollution, saving money, and insurance of mankind. Recycling could help reduce
pollution by enforcing deposit laws and making recycling centers mandatory. Also
recycling can help save money, so communites can put the saved money towards
other important issues. Finally, recycling can be beneficial to people’s health by
producing products from the old ones and working toward cleaner water.
