Survey Data Class Found

Through our survey we gathered a lot of data. We used many procedures to gather our data, to show the results of our survey. With our survey we found many strengths yet weaknesses. Our data gave us a good conclusion about the class and there position in the work place. The procedures we used to gather our data was many questions in the survey. We had three that included data using age, earnings, and hours worked.

We used this information and found the mean, median, mode, sample variance, standard deviation, and coefficient variation. We used histograms and box and whisker plots to show are data in an easy to read graph. Through the process of our survey we found many strengths yet weaknesses. Our strengths are noticeable because we show them in our data, such as multiple data tables and graphs to support our survey.

Our major weakness is the fact that we used just our class because all the students are in the same age range so it was not a large spread of data. Another major weakness is the percentage of people who lied on our survey because we had participants that said they had no job yet filled the hours worked and income sections of our survey to through off our data. In conclusion we have found with our study, is that most students in our class are 17 or 18. Most of the kids in our class either don’t have a job or don’t work enough to make over 75 dollars in a two week period, which means the majority of our class works less than 10 hours per week.
