They are dropping out of school because they are unable to do the work. They focus on things that are not as important as school. They are dropping out because or pregnancy; along with other reasons. Many of the dropouts involve themselves in the use of illegal drugs or the sell of drugs. In conclusion, If Dr.

King were alive today, he would say that his dream has not come true because most of the things he wanted to happen have not happened yet. There is still racism and violence especially the black on black crime. Young people and teenagers are still dropping out of schools at alarming rates, and unfortunately many are using or selling drugs. If Dr. King were alive today, he would say that his dream has not come true.
