Unfair Nursing Homes Work People Residents

The of today are very unfair to their residents and staff. They want to provide their residents with the best care, but with the cheapest ways of doing it. Most nursing home workers are overworked and under p aided resulting in the neglect and abuse of our elderly. How can they expect to give the best care to their residents if the staff is so underpaid. Some nursing homes do not even offer benefits. A majority of the nursing homes are short staffed and even enforce strict rules of mandation.

Mandation is when you work your eight hour shift and then are forced to work the next eight hours. Then you are expecting to be at work for your next scheduled shift. This results in many nursing home workers becoming burnt-out. While the office help gets the best money and the best benefits and the least amount of work.

In nursing homes it seems like the more work you do, the less you receive. Is it any wonder that our patients are unhappy and most die quickly when placed in nursing homes. The government needs to look at what they are really doing when they make cuts to the medical field. I reply do not know what else to write. I guess i need to find a new career. I love my job, but i do not like to see people treated the way i see them get treated.

Hospitals are the same way. When you work with people, you need the time to get to know each one individually and not treat a person just like they are only a job. I feel the medical field needs to become more personal and in tune with other people’s feelings.
